GRADINGS:
  • M - Mint-has to be in a sealed bag...if not it's Ex.
  • Ex - The record has been played but well cared for. No lessening in sound quality and the sleeve is in nice order (no splits or creases).
  • Ex- - Slight surface marking and maybe slight creasing of sleeve.
  • Vg+ - A few surface marks but still overall a nice package.
  • Vg - Surface marks and slight sleeve damage like minor spine splits or creases.
  • G - OK, but better used as a collection filler. We don't sell items in lesser condition than this unless they are super-rare.
  • Back Ground.

Condition is strictly graded so if you are not happy we will re-imburse your money!

We have a very good strike rate with WANTS LISTS so, if you are after something, please send us your list. A note-promo items from Japan are very difficult to find-we deal mainly in vinyl from yesteryear!

A key to some of the more common abbreviations used in this on-line catalogue:
  • f/b slv orig.-flipback sleeve original. LPs pressed in New Zealand had flipback sleeves until 1972. Generally if its a NZ flipback then its the original.
  • wol, swol, toc, wol, etc-writing on label, cover, tear on label, cover. Its not usually that bad or we won't sell it.
  • obi-the paper strip on Japanese albums that runs around the outside of the sleeve vertically. Usually has the album name, group, track listing and any other info like 'includes poster' etc. Almost always written in Japanese which we can translate.
  • co.slv.-company sleeve. The paper die-cut sleeve which comes with most singles. As in the UK, most singles pressed in New Zealand came in company sleeves up until the late 70's. In fact NZ were a wee bit late in using pic sleeves so many of the early punk releases came in company sleeves.
  • p/s-picture sleeve-unique to that release. We always tell you if it has a p/s.
