Started collecting records at age 10. First pop record Chas bought was “20 solid gold hits volume 3”. Played drums for several bands over 18 years. Started MOONHOP RECORDS in 1996 and went online in 2000. Since then, collaborating with LO COST RECORDS, the business keeps expanding!

Ex-builder, bouncer and commercial fisherman, Murray owns LO COST RECORDS in Petone, New Zealand. LO COST opened in 1992 and it is still operating at the same premises. His stock can be bought through MOONHOP RECORDS Website.

M - Mint-has to be in a sealed bag...if not it's Ex.
Ex - The record has been played but well cared for. No lessening in sound quality and the sleeve is in nice order (no splits or creases).bag...if not it's Ex.
Ex- - Slight surface marking and maybe slight creasing of sleeve.
Vg+ - A few surface marks but still overall a nice package.
Vg - Surface marks and slight
sleeve damage like minor spine splits or creases.
G - OK, but better used as a collection filler. We don't sell items in lesser condition than this unless they are super-rare.
